Message from the President

The Society was established in 1906 and was set up to provide a point of contact for ex-students of the Minster Grammar School where they could meet and maintain ties with the school after their departure.
Whilst the world has changed over the years, the reason for having such a society has not and with people further a field the argument for having a strong society becomes all the more important.
The strength of the Society rests with its members but sadly in recent years there has been a decline in new membership to the society. In 2003 we reached the point whereby it looked as though we may have to disband, however I am happy to say the injection of 'new blood', ideas and enthusiasm the OSS does appear to be heading back to its former glory but it still needs work to get there.
