News A celebration concert was held on 25th February 2012 in the Minster, for individuals who have given a lifetime of service to the Minster and its School. NewsThe last website lasted about 20 months but it was written using a piece of Apple software that is no longer supported. The new site uses advanced standardised code that separates the content of the site from its structure reducing the complexity and making the site quicker to load. There are a lot of new features that help navigate the site and a lot of new content, which is reviewed below.

Crisis of Communication Since the end of WW2 about 10K students have passed through the Minster School and its predecessors with each one of these a potential member of the Old Southwellians Society. In the old days it was simple you sent in your home address and telephone number and news came in the form of a newsletter or mail shot. Today even with the address that are up to date one mail shot would bankrupt the society. Read
